Dear Advisers,

The new school year is upon us and so is FCCLA. This year is sure to be a blast as we "Star On Stage with FCCLA". I certainly hope that you're ready to make Florida FCCLA the definition of excellence, as we make this year the best ever.

My duty as President-Elect is to increase Florida's membership, but in no way can I do it alone. I am a firm believer in the saying "Together We Can Achieve Excellence".   That is why I am reaching out to you, the wonderful advisors of FL FCCLA. At the beginning of the year you will receive an FCCLA Be Part of It kit in the mail. This packet will contain numerous fun and successful ways of obtaining new members. Please open it and explore its contents, you may end up having fun yourself, it has an interactive CD full of information, such as the FCCLA creed, posters, motto, and flyer downloads including a constructed lesson plan about FCCLA for your FACS students.

With our membership goal of adding 7 members to each chapter (4 guys and 3 girls),
I am positive that this packet and the Be Part of It Campaign will aid you in reaching your goal as a chapter.

Recruit Retain and Recognize

FCCLA also has numerous recognition chances for its members on the Be Part of It campaign.  One member can actually receive national recognition by adding a total of three members. Forms are on the national website.
Florida will recognize members and chapters who have accomplished their membership goals as well.
